    The Opportunity

    Wellington is searching for individuals to join our team who are results-driven, customer service focused, and looking to build a rewarding, long-term career with a growing company. This opportunity will help driven individuals develop new skills to build on their education as well as gain entrance into the corporate insurance sector.  Wellington Insurance has developed a program aimed at training future Claims Examiners in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. If selected, this individual will gain hands on experience handling various claims while working towards a complete company sponsored Texas Property & Casualty license.

    Wellington Insurance Group is a diversified financial services organization in the insurance industry with numerous entities conducting business from offices in Fort Worth, TX. Wellington’s core business is development and distribution of residential property insurance in the State of Texas.


    Duties Include, but are not limited to:

    • Taking statements and handling basic customer and agent calls
    • Maintain customer contact while providing excellent customer service
    • Assist Field representatives as needed in order to gain practical experience internally and within the field


    Qualifications/Skills Desired:

    • Associates Degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college, business school, or technical school required
    • Ability to act professionally with management
    • Possess a strong attention to detail
    • Proficient with MS Office
    • Bilingual is a strong plus

    • Problem solving- proactively finding solutions to difficult or complex issues
    • Communication- strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to many different personalities
    • Work ethic- demonstrate good attitude and judgment, discretion, and maintain high level of confidentiality
